🐾OUR PATTERN LICENSING TERMS

Effective Date: 08/01/2025


These Pattern Licensing Terms (“Terms”) govern the use of all digital pattern files (“Licensed Material”) provided by Happy Pet Designs LLC. By purchasing, downloading, or using the Licensed Material, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.


1. Ownership


All intellectual property rights in the Licensed Material remain with Happy Pet Designs LLC. Purchase does not transfer copyright.


2. License Types


  • Standard License: Grants limited, non-exclusive rights as described on each product page; other licensees may use the same pattern under this license.
  • Extended Commercial License: Grants broader non-exclusive commercial rights as outlined in the Extended Commercial License description; other licensees may also use the same pattern under this license.
  • Exclusive Custom License: Requires a separate written agreement; upon execution, exclusivity is granted and the Licensed Material is retired from further sale.


3. Permitted Uses


  • Permitted uses for Standard and Extended Commercial Licenses are specified on each product page.
  • For Exclusive Custom Licenses, the permitted uses are defined in the written agreement between the parties.


4. Prohibited Uses


  • Redistribution, resale, or sublicensing of digital files;
  • Use as stock graphics, clipart, competing patterns, templates, or logos without explicit written consent;
  • Use of Licensed Material on Print-On-Demand platforms (e.g., Redbubble, Zazzle, Society6, Printful, etc.) without prior written permission;
  • Any unlawful, defamatory, or infringing use.


5. Modifications


Modification or adaptation of the Licensed Material does not grant additional rights, does not transfer ownership, and is prohibited unless expressly authorized in writing.


6. Termination


Licenses may be terminated immediately upon violation of these Terms. After termination, you must cease all use of the Licensed Material.


7. Governing Law


This License is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio. Venue for any dispute shall be exclusively in Cuyahoga County, Ohio.
